AT LAST THE REAL WORK BEGINS!

Our builder, Ian is appointed to undertake the construction of our new home. We found him by chance after admiring the quality of brickwork and general workmanship on a new build house we were driving past. His associate Dennis is an expert at groundwork and begins digging the footings, closely watched by Paula, our very nice Archaeologist.

The ready mixed concrete wagon squeezes along the narrow driveway with just inches to spare with 6 x 6m loads. Ian and Dennis pour the concrete over 2 days in good weather conditions.

We have been graced with relatively good weather and foundation blocks are laid ready for Beam & Block flooring.

Beam & Block Ground Flooring now on Site with steel reinforced concrete beams set out and infilled with blocks.
